British Columbia is served by six health authorities: five regional and one province-wide. The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) ensures effective and high-quality delivery of selected province-wide health care programs and services.

The regional health authority that governs Maple Ridge is Fraser Health Authority – It is the only Health Authority in the Lower mainland of BC to support IMGs.

Maple Ridge has its own regional Hospital within the Fraser Health Authority. It provides a wide range of integrated health care services. The Health Care Services in our community range from the acute care hospital to community-based residential, home health, mental health and public health services. Local access to a variety of consultants is very good with the additional regional specialists within Fraser Health and Coastal Health (Vancouver) Authorities.
